Cross-team working can be a challenge; teams have different goals and ways of working and it can be hard to be truly collaborative when aiming for different things. I can work with your fundraising and digital teams (for example) to build understanding on both sides, develop shared objectives, and drive better digital fundraising communications. I can help you think differently about team structures. I can train your team to help them get the best out of your agency relationships.
I can review and improve specific email journeys for your supporters. I can help you look at all of your emails and work with you to plan and manage your email programme, so that more people will open and engage with what you send them.

I am an adaptable, collaborative fundraising professional, and have been helping charities raise millions of pounds since 2004. Since going freelance in spring 2018, I have primarily worked on delivering digital and social strategies for clients large and small. I firmly believe that it’s only by taking a community-building approach that charities will be able to continue to thrive and raise vital funds for their causes. Digital is fundamental to this challenge - and offers a huge opportunity for charities to be much more supporter-centric in their approach. With experience both client- and agency-side, across a large range of causes, I have a deep understanding of the art and science of fundraising, as well as a strong commitment to ensuring that supporters receive the communications they deserve. I have held roles at Anthony Nolan and Breakthrough Breast Cancer, while at telephone agency Pell & Bales I worked with clients like UNICEF, Save the Children and Cancer Research UK to plan and develop their fundraising programmes. With expertise in digital fundraising across all mass disciplines, as well as a background in individual giving, I am capable and knowledgeable, applying my understanding to real world fundraising and communications opportunities.
